A Fresh Campaign
The Fresh Food Campaign is modeled after the 2008 Tilt Foundation’s Baltimore: The Urban Forest Project – only this time in promotion of food. It is the simple idea of pushing fresh, wholesome and locally grown food into the forefront of the mainstream culture. To do this we will use photography alluding to the sexiness of food and the joy of fresh produce. This will kick start a global community program combined with exhibitions on fresh food.
Designers, artists, communities and children will be encouraged to create posters and banners for the exhibitions. These banners will be marketing and promotion for the campaign in themselves. The banners could be made into a unique one of a kind sustainable tote bags or another product after the exhibitions and sold to support our global initiatives around food production, waste and systems. We seek to work with the public and design community to change the way we see food help promote this movement.
