Baltimore: The Urban Forest Project is a nationwide initiative that took root in Baltimore in early 2008. Supported and spearheaded by the Tilt Foundation and its generous funders, Tilt developed the identity package, website and promotions; managed community events; handled related product development and sales; and did much more to make this project a success. The project benefited TreeBaltimore, the mayoral initiative to increase the tree canopy from 20% to 40% by year 2030.
