TILT is in the early planning stages for developing our first cafe concept. It has been on our minds for some time and now we are really going to do it while maintaining our brand consultancy. This idea stemmed from years of our owner E. Rachael Baird’s unusual diet (allergies to wheat, gluten, dairy with sensitivity to all meat, shellfish, citric acid and mangos) and watching other people like her have constant trouble eating out, especially children, with increasing concern.
Over time, all of our client travel and research lead to developing our own concept, when we found ourselves on the road and craving healthy, whole food. Looking further we realized that this was a very underserved category in the marketplace, especially when it comes to kids.
So, we now know what is missing in the marketplace!
The TILT KITCHEN, is the answer! A quick, convenient, fun-for-all-ages brand concept with an allergen-sensitive twist paired with healthy, tasty and creative menu options. Our tagline says it all, “Real Food Real People.” Food sensitivities, preferences and allergies are on the rise, and children are becoming much more complicated with their flavor profiles. It is challenging to get kids to try anything healthy let alone something that is considered to be an unprocessed whole food. We believe if you give customers the options and let them play chef to customize their orders, you begin to start spreading the seeds of better eating choices because the customer is more vested in the overall outcome!
