Urban Forest in Baltimore

Tuesday, August 26th, 2008

Baltimore: The Urban Forest Project was our foundation (Tilt Studio Foundation) event for 2007/08. It went outside the box to help create awareness for the environment. Working with artists and designers in and around Baltimore, we requested designs based on trees and sustainability. The designs were printed as 9′ banners and hung on street poles for 11 weeks. At the end of the project we made them into tote bags and sold them. The proceeds went to benefit TreeBaltimore.

This project was an amazing success! I could blog about it all day, but I think that everyone would be better off taking a look for themselves. Go online and browse: bmore-ufp.org
