Redesigning the Tilt Logo

It is important to have our own clear cut and defined brand. For years, we have focused on our customer work and the Tilt brand was certainly of lesser importance. After Baltimore: The Urban Forest Project, we quickly recognized how great it could be to have something that really speaks to the Tilt message and culture. So, we are putting it out there.

Here are some of the marks that were developed by our team. The concept was to create something strong, clear and easy to understand. Feel free to comment, we are narrowing down our approach and looking for feedback. FEEL FREE TO COMMENT!

Tilt Chop Seal

While on a trip in Taiwan, we were lucky to visit the Jade Market close to Taipei 101. This market is one of the older markets in the city and represents the rich culture of the East. There are so many remarkable crafted items out of the jade that it was a bit overwhelming.

Central National

Central National is a division of Central National-Gottesman, Inc. a paper, pulp and packaging merchant and distributor. This international company has been in business for over 150 years and has truly paved the way for the industry. Currently they represent 3 regions and over 20 locations worldwide.

We are tasked with developing a clear and concise brand that would be easily implemented throughout the world. Since there are so many languages, cultures and people represented, this has not been easy, but the rewards will be great! As an environmentally conscious company, it is crucial that the materials used and the information delivered be as collaborative as possible with the certification companies.

Eddie’s Market

Eddie’s Market in Charles Village is our Buy Local store in our neighborhood. Representing a variety of local food vendors and farms, Jerry Gordon is not only a friend of Tilt, but one that appreciates good design. This project was truly a perfect fit. We are invested in the success of Eddies Market and bringing people to our local Charles Village store.

Launch is an educational program developed to assist artists by marketing and representing their work.

Tilt Foundation initiates large-scale community-based projects to create environmental awareness.

Tilt Design & Branding solves unique business needs through cohesive identity and branding.
