The Red Book Wins!

December 18th, 2008

Wow! I love this piece, but I wasn’t sure that others would too! Print Magazine gave us a great award and we will be in their November/December Issue this year.

The piece was created for SSP America as a PR Crisis Management Kit. It was loved so much by SSP that it was taken Global earlier in the year (or at least that is what we were told). It was meant to be bright, bold and to make an impact on the viewer. This was to ensure that there wasn’t room for error. Each of the components fit together to make a cohesive package: Casing, Rolodex Cards, Booklet, First Aid Kit, Poster, Note Pads, Pen.

Green Business Quarterly – Tilt as a Green Design Firm

December 18th, 2008

This spring, Tilt was featured in Green Business Quarterly. This National publication, headquartered in Chicago, found Tilt while researching CSBA and BALLE members. We peaked their interest because of our unique business model and community platform. The article is a great representation and showcases Tilt as the community driven company that we strive to be.

The article was the first major publication that wrote a complete article about Tilt Studio.

Spirited Woman Award – E. Rachael Baird, Owner of Tilt

December 18th, 2008

The Spirited Woman Award was the first for Rachael. Nominated by a client and friend, she was honored to have been selected for the youngest award recipient of 2008. Created by Monyka Berrocosa from mycity4her.com and the originator of Women’s Wine and Dine, this award is meant to go towards women in the community that have done something above and beyond. Typically, the women chosen are either working in conjunction with education or helping people.

Due to the success of Baltimore: The Urban Forest Project and Rachael’s stance at the forefront of the project as the public face, she was selected as the recipient of the Woman on the Rise Award. Two other women were chosen to be honored for a total of 3 different age categories.

Co-sponsored by Smart Woman Magazine and co-hosted by The Red Cross, this was a great opportunity for the entire Tilt team, especially since Barbara Mikulski also presented an award.  Read more online.

This piece was a partially manufactured at Tilt, via assembly, and the entire kit was produced to be “foodservice friendly” (meaning: very durable). It has since been sent to their 27 international locations for potential use.
